Always Do Your Best!

Wednesday, February 27, 2008

By Cari Campbell

To access and increase your personal power it's important that you do your best in every situation. Doing your best doesn't mean being perfect, but just giving 100% and acting from your heart and higher self.

Think about a time in your life when you really applied yourself and committed to doing your best at something. How did you feel? What was the end result? I find that when I am doing my best (even if I'm in a situation that it not ideal) I feel happy and fulfilled regardless of what is happening in my physical reality. If you do your best you don't have to look back with regrets or self-loathing. It also keeps your focus on the present, which we all know by now is our point of power!

If you don't do your best you send out a message to the Universe that you can't be taken seriously. If you can't even do your best at small tasks, how can you achieve the big stuff? Set some small goals for yourself for the next two weeks and GET IT DONE! Do your best! Watch your energy level raise up and for your life to take on more meaning. You will feel successful more often, and then you will be attracting more success to you, and you will be vibrating energetically at a higher level.

Finally, just to drive this point home, remember this: the point is to be happy now, not off in the future. Every moment is an opportunity to create whatever we want for our lives. Do we want to squander these moments, or do we want to do our best and live a meaningful, enriched life? What can you do today that will be an act of personal power and will be a step towards creating something amazing? What do you want from life? Stop and think about it! Visualize! Now commit to doing your best!

I do my best in every moment, and I forgive myself easily if I temporarily forget to do my best. I live my life with purpose- I am tapped into my personal power! Today is a beautiful, amazing day.

7 Steps to Success

Saturday, February 23, 2008

By Jason Pearson

What can you do to catapult your internet marketing business? There are seven steps that can take you to the next level with your business. You may have a website and think that is enough, but unfortunately traffic will not magically drive its way toward your business. You must have something that the public wants, and you must have a way to get the public to know where to look for your product.

Step 1: Package deals- You can sell your product in a package deal with another web business. You can share the advertisement, and split the profits. This would be a win- win situation for all parties involved. So if you sell aromatherapy candles, you may want to look into packaging up with an essential oils company. By partnering up with a complementing company you will be able to move more product.

Step 2: Subscription Products- If you sell information products, then you may find that letting your clients subscribe, or become members to your product may serve you well. By charging them per week or monthly you would be bringing in secure residual income. Instead of one sell to one client you could bring in a steady stream of income each month.

Step 3. Web Links- Add a directory of web site links to your own site. People will find that your site is the place to go in order to find related web site links for the topic they are interested in. If you keep your site updated, you will find that people will put your site on their favorite lists and revisit your site on a regular basis.

Step 4. Link Pages- Add a free link page to your web site. People will go to your site to post their own links and to check out others who have added their links. You can run their links in on your site if they would be willing to place your link on their home page for a couple of months. You would be basically bartering to get your site out to people without spending large amounts of money.

Step 5. Rental products- Rent your product out for a certain amount of time. You can make more money in the long run by renting your product out and then getting it back to rent out again. Today people would rather spend less money and rent product than spend a larger amount to buy. You will find that you will have more customers who will regularly return to your site and do business with you.

Step 6. Lease Product- Kin to renting is leasing your product out. The difference is that with leasing your customers will have the option to buy. By giving your clients all of the options you can, you will please your clients and continue to bring back your loyal clients.

Step 7. Message Boards- By adding a message to your site you will be making it possible for your customers to have a place to post questions and get answers. Those who post just to leave their own link may also become customers of yours.

Whether you follow these steps in order, or decide to mix them up for some spice, you will find that they will help boom your business. By finding out all your options you can tailor your business to suit you best, while making it a success.

Inner Peace - Why It's Important And How To Find It

By Natasha Porteous

Why inner peace is the most valuable asset anyone can posses? Inner peace is the uppermost key to your success and peace of mind. Inner peace can tear down your superficial barriers, and your full potential will be realized as you see the world through new eyes. Inner peace is the most valuable and beautiful quality because it radiates from deep within outwards in to the world around you.

So the question lies in what is inner peace? Inner peace is an individual feeling of calm and tranquility inside yourself; you are content with who you are as a person with a deep knowing that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. You feel happy with yourself on all levels and comfortable in yourself, you also begin to fully understand and realize that you are part of a bigger picture.

Inner peace enables you to connect to higher realms of consciousness, to see the world through new eyes in all its splendor and beauty with infinite possibilities. With inner peace you build a relationship with your self that resides deep within your soul. Connecting to your own soul is like connecting with the universal mind, which as an uncanny consequence you access faster energies to manifest your desires.

When you have inner peace you're mind and thoughts are centered, and are not distracted by insignificant insecurities of others or meaningless hang-ups. The real meaning of life is revealed to you and the importance of love, kindness, giving, creativity and peace take a higher priority. Look into the real meaning of these words and you will understand these words are why we are here.

To get to the destination of inner peace is like under taking a journey along a winding road, the speed of which is determined by the approach you take searching for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. When you reach your destination it is worth it, and you wonder why you were held back from the joyous feelings of inner peace.

You see modern day living can put up barriers to your inner peace, by focusing on the external world to solve your problems. But when you realize you need to be focusing on what's on the inside of you it puts things back into perspective, and the funny thing about it is that the externalities of life correct themselves. Why this is, is because it is the internal world which is your soul, mind and thoughts which creates the external material world which is visible. In short it is the invisible (thought) which creates the visible.

So how do you get to that state of inner bliss, well the short answer to that question is that you have to make the decision to find your inner peace and start from the beginning, through self analysis and introspection. This can be achieved through meditation and through silent contemplation; you will be lead by your intuition to different places, books or people to help you along your journey.

Learning from great spiritual teachers, such as Dr Wayne Dyer is very helpful for me personally. He elaborates on the ten principles to success and inner peace, which, if mastered and practiced on a daily basis, will guide you to an inner sense of tranquility. Winning - Is Winning Everything?

Sunday, February 17, 2008

By Darrell Causey

I was once told that winning isn't everything, the important thing is that you played. At that moment, I didn't have a reply. I was speechless! I never thought of doing anything in which I didn't plan to win or do my best.

Then as I thought about this statement, I realized I hadn't always won; so winning can't be everything. But if winning isn't everything, why do we like winning so much? Why do we like hanging out with winners?

I have never had a player come up to me and say, "Hey coach, all this winning isn't what it's cracked up to be; let's try losing a few games". That has never happened even once.

There's no denying it, we like to win. But WHY?

The answer I believe can be found in this quote by Joe Namath. "When you win nothing hurts."

That's so true, when we win nothing hurts. But the opposite is just as true, when we lose everything hurts. Therefore, we want to win because it makes us feel good. The only people who think otherwise haven't experienced the thrill of victory and have been dulled to such feelings.

Though winning may not be everything the desire to win is! Without the drive to win, there is no reason or motivation to practice, to work harder or to do that little extra that will make the difference.

So, it is the desire to win that compels us to practice when others have quit. It is the desire to win that makes us put in extra hours after everyone else has gone home. It is the desire to win that compels us to go the extra mile.

And we desire to win because everyone loves a WINNER.

I would like to invite you to go http://CoachCausey.com for more about coach Causey.

I Have Proof That Success Belongs To Lazy People

Wednesday, February 13, 2008

By Alex Liu

If you look carefully, you'll get to see people who are successful are lazy too. They are not smarter than us, they didn't work harder than us or they don't have higher qualifications than us. They just meet us up one day or announce to us out of a sudden that they are rich. Did they just get lucky or they get to know some of these secrets:

Successful people don't work as much as they can.

They clearly understand that working as much as they can is just merely acting as a headless chicken. They work according to their goals and action. If they want to be a running champion, they don't run as fast as they can everyday. They check what the current champion's speed is and plan how to train themselves to achieve that speed.

Successful people don't try to be a superman.

They work almost the same amount as others. What they understand differently from others is "One person can achieve limited results; One team can achieve unlimited results". They don't do everything themselves, they are good at leveraging others by getting everyone to do what they are best in and keep them get empowered. They also make sure everyone in the team will get more than 1 when they offer 1 to the team.

Successful people don't work for money.

Most people will only choose business or job that will give them the most earning. They work very hard in that business or job to earn as much as they can. Successful people work for their passion. They know as long as they are working passionately, they will work with fun, excitement and happy. They will attract suppliers, employees and customers who share the same passion with them. These suppliers support them fully, these employees are happy to work with them and their customers are good, regular and loyal ones.

Successful people don't work very hard.

They always remember that working hard is an excuse or an obstacle for them to improve themselves. They go for seminars, courses, books and mentors who they can learn how to be more effective and how to improve themselves. As a result, they work lesser but their earnings are always growing.

Successful people are not lazy at the beginning.

They know that if they enjoy now, they need to work harder in the future. Working harder in the future is tougher because they find themselves harder to form good habits and very used to be comfortable after enjoying. When they grow older, they know their body will get weaker and their financial burden will be much heavier (House, Car, Family and Children Education). They choose to work for 10 years and enjoy 50 years, not enjoy for 10 years and work for 50 years.

These are all my proofs that show you clearly successful people are truly lazy people. They know these are the way they can work in a lazy way and enjoy life. Start being lazy and use these methods to live a great and enjoying life.

You Are NOT Designed For Success!

Thursday, February 7, 2008

By Ferny Ceballos

Some of you may have thought my last article was a little in your face, where I'm basically telling you to suck it up and learn whatever you need to learn to succeed.

Along the same lines, this may rub many of you the wrong way, but it's important that you understand exactly why you may be resistant to trying new ways to market and promote your business. Why you may be resistant to learning a new technology. Why you may be resistant to even read this article.

I was going to sugarcoat this a little bit, but I then thought that maybe hitting you over the head with this might prove to be more effective. Even at the risk of having you unsubscribe for the very reasons I'm about to outline for you.

So here it is:

  • You are NOT designed to be great.
  • You are NOT designed to be happy.
  • You are NOT designed to be successful.
  • You are NOT designed to have integrity.
  • You are NOT designed to be faithful.
  • You are NOT designed to be loyal.
  • You are NOT designed to be a great athlete.
  • You are NOT designed to be a successful internet marketer.
  • You are NOT designed for success in your business.
  • You are NOT designed to be alive!

You are basically not designed to be anything other than ordinary, which means you are designed for one thing and one thing only - to survive and multiply.

Benjamin Franklin once said, "The average American male dies at 25 and is buried at 65."

All t his seems to fly in the face of most self-help and success books out there which tell you that you are designed and destined for greatness. But if you listen hard enough, you'll see that nothing here goes against what they teach. I'm just drawing important distinctions all the other fluffy Law of Attraction gurus won't give you for fear of losing out on the 'lazy' sales.

Why We Live Among the Ordinary

When you look at most people around in this world, you'll notice that there is a hierarchy. The few control the masses and the masses allow themselves to be controlled by circumstance. This is the first piece of data, which should catch your attention.

Through the course of human history, whenever anyone has attempted and succeeded in having a life of significance and impacting others, it came at a heavy price.

Martin Luther King, Jr. gave up much of his personal freedom - was thrown in jail many times, worked tirelessly against incredible odds, risked his life and ultimately gave his life to inspire our country to become a more perfect nation. All this against the advice of even other African-American activist. And most definitely despite his own fears, doubts and survival instincts.

Pat Tillman left million dollars and an NFL career to serve his country in Afghanistan and ultimately give his life for a cause he believed in. He gave up comfort, a lavish lifestyle and most probably was confronted with a surge of fear at many points before and after his decision.

Ghandi invented and manifested the real possibility of having a non-violent revolution and liberate India from the British. He gave his life for this cause as well. Even when faced with opposition from fellow countrymen he persisted. He fasted to end violence among Muslims and Hindus - a fast which nearly killed him.

Tiger Woods has practiced the game of golf since he was 3 years old and continues to practice with vigor. He even at one point changed his swing from what was natural to him and proven to be successful. He faced much criticism by "golf experts" and critics, because they thought he was throwing away a "sure thing". This transition cost him a few wins, but ultimately led to even greater success than what he had before as he mastered his new style.

Fighting Against Our Biology

In whatever industry, point in history or country, you will find a minority of people who have managed to set themselves apart from others. Privately, you may know extraordinary individuals who have overcome both physical and exterior obstacles to accomplish extraordinary things.

In my martial arts school, I get to witness the progress of someone starting at white belt and seeing how they manage to "re-wire" themselves to perform extraordinary feats of human agility, which they weren't able to do when they started.

Even if they had been taught how to do a jumping spin kick on Day 1, their biology at that point in time would not have allowed them to do it. But over the course of many months training, that impossibility becomes possible.

Not too long ago, I shared this discovery about my own biology to my teacher, Chief Master Taejoon Lee. I said to him,

"You know, sir. I've come to discover that anytime we try to do something that is positive or for self-betterment, we hit walls regardless of whether there are any exterior forces keeping us from succeeding. We are fighting against our own biology - our fears, our thoughts, our physical state, our lazyness, etc."
He replied,
"That's right. That's why I have to teach someone how to do a simple front kick 300 times over the course of their training. Their bodies aren't designed to do it correctly. Doing it the right way hurts, it's taxing, it requires certain physical properties they dont' have yet. But they will only acquire those properties if they work towards doing it correctly through practice. If they practice doing it wrong, then they will always do it wrong."
I reflected on Master Lee's words and did a deep self inquiry as to why I am the way I am. What I found was scary... Not so much for myself, but for the world. All of a sudden The Matrix became real!

We operate very much like machines - biological machines programmed to whine, complain, blame, make up excuses, lie, cheat, seek pleasure, avoid pain and then use reason to keep ourselves from taking responsibility for our actions and the crappy state of our lives, businesses, family life or anything else we experience.

We are perfectly designed to be bland and ordinary and then create a story as to why we are that way. We tell ourselves that we have strengths and weaknesses and that we are limited as to what we can do because of this.

Hitting the Glass Ceiling in Life

We hit a class ceiling in life called our biology. Whenever we do what is easy, we are moving according to our biology - our design. Whenever we do what is hard, new and out of our comfort zone, we are engaging in battle with our biology.

Many will roam through life searching for meaning from God or other deity as to why we have the life we have. We seek meaning, because we want someone - in this case someone divine - to give us an excuse for not taking responsibility for the state of our lives. Hoping there is good reason to remain unsatisfied and mediocre.

Simply put, there is no meaning to life other than what we assign to it. What we create for it.

The Anti-dote for Mediocrity

By now, I've probably bummed you out and maybe even pissed you off. You are thinking, "if we are all designed to live ordinary crappy lives, what is the difference between the ordinary and extraordinary?"

Simple, the difference are the CHOICES we make. When faced with difficult circumstances, extraordinary people make choices based on what they want for themselves and their lives and not what is easy.

The one freedom we have been given to overcome our design are our choices - as human beings we are the only animal on the planet with choices. We can choose to simply survive (which is relatively easy) or we can choose a life of significance.

In the face of our circumstance...

In the face of our doubts...

In the face of our fears...

In the face of what seems logical...

Choice, nullifies everything and gives us complete freedom to do and be whatever we want to be.

"No Offense... But What the Heck Does This Have to Do with Marketing?" Ha ha ha... glad you asked.

Recently many of you have been asking questions, which included phrases like:

  • "the easiest way to generate leads."
  • "the fastest way to get customers."
  • "whether you need to be technically savvy to do attraction marketing."
  • "doing attraction marketing for free."
  • "how do I get free traffic?"
And these are very good questions and there are good answers to all of these. But I also want to make people aware of the fact that even though Attraction Marketing is more leveraged, much easier and more powerful than any other form of marketing - it still requires that you become a professional.

As a professional you are asked to become a serious student of the game. You have to be willing to fail. You have to be willing to acquire new skills. You have to be disciplined in making sure you follow through with everything you set out to do. You have to be willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to be successful.

our mindset will require some shifting as well. Instead asking "what's the easiest way to do this?", you should be asking "what's the most effective (powerful) way to do this?"

All this will require you to make choices, instead of rationalizing through your circumstance and finding a convenient path. Dare to shoot for the impossible and the results will amaze you.

With choice, you now have the ability to tap into something within your design which is truly unlimited and extraordinary - your potential.

Your Choice - An Extraordinary Fully Used Up Life or Die with a Full Tank of Potential? Screw Your Biology and Let's Make Things Happen.

Luck - How It Impacts Success in the Business World

Wednesday, February 6, 2008

By Osric Baugham

To make it in the business world right now you need three things: money, knowledge and luck. Money and knowledge are self explanatory because you need money to invest in the business. You also need knowledge of the product you are selling or the service you are providing. Alas, how do you acquire luck? Let's explore what luck is and you will find that luck may really be within your control. Let's first define Luck. In Webster's dictionary, Luck is an unknown and unpredictable phenomenon that causes an event to result one way rather than another; "bad luck caused his downfall"; "we ran into each other by pure chance". Based on that definition, luck is out of your control; but it really is not. We will break Luck down into two parts: Preparation and Opportunity.

Before we explain preparation, let's go down memory lane. Take a minute and think of a time when you felt unlucky (got passed over a promotion, did not make the basketball team, etc). Now think of a time when you were lucky. Hold those thoughts; we will come back to them. Preparation is the component of luck that you control completely. Regardless of what you do in your life, there has to be some level of preparation. Whether it is laying out your clothes for the next day to studying for an exam to preparing a presentation at work, preparation is a key factor. Now, let's go back to a time when you felt lucky and unlucky: the situation that you felt unlucky, were you prepared? Had you done everything in your power to be ready for that situation? If you were indeed not ready nor prepared, then you can easily fix that component of luck. Remember, always be prepared for whatever!

Opportunity is the other component of luck that to the naked eye you can't control. However, let's explore opportunity. Opportunity is basically the vehicle of the event, situation or circumstance that you would like to benefit from in a positive manner. Opportunities are around us everyday. It all depends on what your interests are. Haven't you seen a situation or event and said to yourself, "if I was...., I could use that"? Opportunities are always available, but it depends on you. Opportunities can also be created, in a sense. You can put yourself in a situation, event or circumstance that you have prepared to take advantage of when the opportunity presents itself. Instead of being at the right place at the right time by chance, you can place [yourself] at the right place and wait for the right time to present itself. Therefore you can create your own luck after preparing adequately.

The bottom line is simple: In today's business world of entrepreneurs, you have to be savvy, creative, knowledgeable and lucky. Of the four characteristics, luck is one that you would think you could not control but as I have shown you, you can! Preparation and Opportunity is all Luck is. To be successful, you always have to have a plan (be prepared). Successful people are typically viewed as being lucky but all they do is take advantage of opportunities by being prepared. So do you want to be lucky? Start by being ready!

Action Without Distraction Is Your Only Hope For Success

Are You Looking For That Pot Of Gold In Internet Marketing?

I doubt that even Albert Einstein could easily calculate how many people throughout the world are trying to make their dream of success on the Internet come into reality. Add on to that the money they have spent trying to accelerate that dream. It reminds me of the historical searches many years ago for the fountain of youth..

Does That Pot Of Gold Really Exist?

If I told you "Yes, it absolutely does exist!" you'd probably wonder which one of us was really off his/her "rocker". Your first thought is "If it does exist why have I spent so much time and money searching for that pot of gold and still can't find it?"

Action Without Distraction Is The Answer To Your Thoughts

As humans we all are searching for our dreams to come true, whether it's finding something we really desire. It might be that "perfect somebody" we continually look for, or maybe a better income or our "dream home". Whatever our dreams are, we come down to earth when we realize that it usually takes money to accomplish those dreams. At that point in time we start looking into Internet marketing. After all, we see so many articles and websites telling us how successful we can be if we just "sign up" for this or that program.

The end result of our search is that we jump from one program to another, sometimes immediately after we purchase the one that caught our eye and promised us our dreams. This procedure will eventually cost us more money than we ever anticipated. Unfortunately that is what happens to a majority of people looking for that program that will fulfill their dreams.

Boiled down to one statement, the process is easy to correct once we understand what's happening to us.

We begin to take Action on the program that looked so good to us. All of a sudden we either get an email, or find another website that offers us a "better" opportunity (at least we think that it's "better"), and off we go, spending more money and shelving the first program. That latter process is called Distraction. This type of distraction can multiply and repeat itself until we realize how much money we've invested and how little, if any, money we've received after all the time and effort we've directed to our goal.

Compare Your Situation With Another One

Let's assume that you just purchased what you considered to be the most beautiful shirt you've ever seen and you've just got to have it. You wore it a few times and one day you walk into another store and you see a shirt that really catches your eye. You've just got to have it, and you purchase it and it becomes your "favorite" shirt. Suddenly that first shirt you bought ends up in your closet and possibly you never wear it again. You've just experienced a distraction that interfered with your action of enjoying that first shirt. A simple example, but definitely the way our human brain reacts. Scientifically it's where you fall prey to your conscious brain even though your subconscious brain knows the error you're making.

Your Solution Is Available

Spend time selecting the path you're going to take to succeed in fulfilling your dream. You have just taken the Action necessary. From that point on don't allow any Distraction to take you off that path. Don't let professional copywriters distract you from your actions. Your benefits will be twofold. First, you won't be throwing money away going from one program to another, and Second, by directing your efforts to your goal, your chances of reaching it are multiplied. This can be summarized by Stop, Think Rationally, Take Action, And Don't Let Distraction(s) Interfere With Your Goals.
